This is a 3 speed saginaw transmission that was used in general motors vehicles from 1965 and 1966. This may work with a wide range of gm vehicles so i highly encourage you to do your own research as well as reference the photos to ensure fitment, condition, and to ensure the parts you need are all there. This would make an excellent gift for somebody who needs one or make a great replacement item for your own old school build.
This has the part number gm2 3858986 and the date code J285 on the main case, 3880042 on the tail and Gm4 3858992 on the side case
