Condition:

used , not sure if the piston is usable( have not seen them running in an engine) but I believe it is standard bore. does not look beat up.

Description:

This is a Piston and connecting rod assembly that came out of a 1978 Ford 1 ton van with the Forged Steel Crank Heavy Duty 4.9 300 , However from my research i believe there is no difference between this and a regular Non heavy duty rod and piston. I highly encourage you to do your own research as well as inspect the photos to ensure fitment and condition before purchase. There are no markings on the top of the piston so I believe they are Standard bore, however I have not seen them functioning in a running engine. The rod also has GL80BNY on it.
