Description:
Antique Knights of Pythias Ceremonial Sword! This is VERY rusty. Could be displayed as is or be restored. I did not clean or attempt to polish this in any way, being sold as is. I can’t find another like this one, so I am having trouble nailing down a date. Decorated on the hilt with the classic symbols of the Knights of Pythias – a knight's helmet with a lion on top, and I believe the guards show a falcon on either side. It is very solid, just has quite a bit of surface rust on both the scabbard and blade. If I look closely at the blade I can just hardly see where there was decoration on the blade, but I can’t make out what it is. Overall length when sheathed is about 40.5”.
