This is a PRE SM420 Transmission. This is a non synchro transmission that from my research was used in 1931 to 1947 chevy trucks. This spins freely and seems to be a good core for a rebuild. The number on this is 590474. This would be awesome in an old ratrod or make a cool gift for a vintage car enthusiast.
