IT OPENS AND CLOSES HARD BUT OPENS, IT IS RUSTY AS WELL, IT IS 7 1/2" X 3 1/4" ACROSS THE FRONT SIDE TO SIDE & UP & DOWN. 2" DEEP. AND THE BACK PART THAT GOES IN YOUR DASH 5 1/4" X 2 1/2"
